It’s going to be tough Boxing Day contest between Burnley and Liverpool. Both the team has failed to please their fans this season. Liverpool is searching for their great performance which they had last year, and they come into Friday's clash at Turf Moor 10th in the table and without a win in their previous three outings. Whereas Burnley is sitting in the relegation zone with goal difference with Crystal Palace.

Brendan Rogers has rightly taken confidence from his team's last two performances against Bournemouth and Arsenal, but they are small steps. Liverpool still have a lack of killer instinct at one end of the pitch, and a lack of resilience at the other.
Burnley will have concerns on the goal scoring front. Their goals, or lack of them, could well determine whether they defy the odds and survive. Twelve goals from 17 games is the current total and that ratio won't be enough in the remaining 21 matches.
