Scotland Vs Brazil: I'll Be Happy To Upset Dalglish - Lucas

Brazil midfielder Lucas Leiva has admitted that he could be forced to cause an upset for his Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish if Brazil beat Scotland this Sunday

Lucas stated that this weekend's match against Scotland is very important for Brazil as they seek to return to winning ways after losing the previous international fixtures against France and Argentina. But Lucas was forced to admit that it could be an upset for Kenny Dalglish, who is a Scot himself.

"It will be a very important game for us,'' said Lucas ahead of Sunday's clash at the Emirates.

"We lost the last games so the pressure is a bit higher. But we have a good team and hopefully we will play a very good match. Hopefully we will play with confidence and I am sure we will have a big opportunity to win and be confident for the rest of the games.''

Speaking on Dalglish's reaction should Brazil beat Scotland, he added with a smile: "I don't think he will be happy. I think he is looking forward to the match as well and we were talking a little bit about the game.

"It is an important game for Scotland because they have a lot of respect for Brazil, but we know how difficult it will be because they have good players and play with more confidence. Hopefully we will have a very good match and win. That is the most important thing at the moment.''

Lucas has been a revelation for Liverpool since Kenny Dalglish took over in January, being instrumental in Liverpool's push for revitalization. His form has even convinced Mano Menezes to include him in the national team after previously living in the shadows of other players.

"Kenny has been very good, not just for me but all the players and the fans,'' he said.

"You know he is really important for the club so everything he does is just thinking in the club and the future of the club. He is doing really well and I think all the team, all the players, are enjoying their time with him.''
