Ecuador and Bolivia
will resume their campaign in the 2015 Copa America as they are set to collide
on Monday at the Estadio Elias Figueroa in Valparaiso, Chile. Two sides with
underwhelming recent Copa America records face each other, as Bolivia look to
pick up a rare win against Ecuador. Though, Ecuador - unbeaten in 10 matches
against Bolivia - does not have a point to their name heading into the clash at
Estadio Elias Figueroa after the loss in Santiago.

Ecuador vs Bolivia
Preview:
The Copa America and
Ecuador just do not go well together. Having failed to progress beyond the
group stage since 1997, the year they recorded their best-ever finish at the
competition by reaching the last eight, it has been many years of pain for La
Tricolor. At the same time, Bolivia has not won a game since 1997, which came
on home soil when they hosted the competition.

However, after a 0-0
stalemate against Mexico, Soria is hoping they will be taken seriously. ``We're
happy with the work we have done,'' Soria told a media conference. ``Hopefully
this match might be the result that gets us the respect we deserve”. Gustavo
Quinteros' men did not look too uncomfortable but defensive lapses cost them. ``It
was a game that helped us draw a lot of conclusions and will help us grow as a
team during the tournament,'' Quinteros said.
Ecuador coach Gustavo
Quinteros is still optimistic, though, that they can bounce back after learning
from their mistakes during their 2-0 loss to Chile. On
the other hand, Bolivia will look to sustain their momentum after their
confidence-boosting performance in their tournament opener.
Ecuador vs Bolivia Team
News:
Ecuador named Paredes,
Valencia and Montero - in Friday's starting lineup against Chile, with each
likely to be given the nod once again against Bolivia. Renato Ibarra could be
welcomed back into the fold in place of Osbaldo Lastra, whom he replaced in
that 2-0 reverse, but otherwise Quinteros is likely to name an unchanged side.
For Bolivia, Soria may opt to keep things the same following on from their
opening-game point against Mexico.
